Approach
CBT-I principles, sleep restriction, stimulus control, and light-timing — these work, and they're the first line. FDA-approved pharmacotherapy is available when behavioral intervention isn't enough or when the timeline demands it.
We screen for sleep apnea aggressively. If your STOP-Bang is high, you're getting referred for a study — no amount of sleep medication fixes obstructed breathing.
